The B building, winner of the prize Archi Design Club 2014

The B building, located at the Machines of the Ile in Nantes, in the heart of the Creative District, was inaugurated in May 2013. The metal and glass roof has been manufactured and installed by our teams.

Atlanbois, an inter-branch association of the wood sector in the Pays de la Loire, has called upon CMF, among other things, for the construction of this innovative building. Atlanbois has installed its offices in this low energy consumption building. It is also a centre for resources and information on wood and regional companies.

The ground floor of the B building is open to everybody.

Thanks to its original teardrop-shaped architecture, and its apparent wood structure, the B building has been awarded with the prize of the Archi Design Club in March 2014 and today asserts itself as an atypical urban architecture, and as an emblematic building for its use of wood.
